Project Description

I led the technical development and enhancement of NBM-Health, a sophisticated Python-based bottom-up household level health impact model. This integrated policy evaluation tool quantifies health impacts associated with home energy efficiency interventions across the English housing stock, simultaneously evaluating energy consumption, carbon emissions, intervention costs, and healthcare costs.

• Integrated new evidence on indoor air quality, ventilation, and overheating
• Incorporated regional air pollution variations and climate change adaptation measures
• Developed functionality to assess electrification strategies (heat pumps, electric cooking)
