Description

Jo and I purchased an old, unloved narrowboat called Autumn Adventure and completely stripped it out and rebuilt it. We laid oak flooring throughout, fitted oak wall panelling, built a new kitchen with white cabinets and oak worktops, installed a wood burner with a tiled hearth, and completely refurbished the interior from bow to stern. The boat was also blacked and the Isuzu marine engine was professionally reconditioned. The only job we didn’t do ourselves was the engine — everything else was down to us.
